Writers Block is Temporary, but Puppy love is Forever!

I have had absolutely¬†nothing of value to write about, I haven’t even cooked anything exciting! Every time I open up the laptop, all inspiration leaves me. Even now, I am having trouble stringing words together long enough to write. I keep finding myself staring at my puppy, who’s only 8 weeks old, hoping to God he doesn’t wake up unnoticed and have an accident near the door.

I hope you are ready for cuteness overload because this is the cutest. Freaking. Dog. Ever! He’s a Great Pyrenees, so he is going to be massive.

His first day at the dog park

I’ve heard that I should crate train him, but I haven’t been able to bring myself to do it. He’s pretty much potty trained except for¬†a few accidents near the back door. We’ve puppy proofed with baby gates and by locking up the phone chargers. This has helped tremendously with his idea of a litter box buffet…EW!

Could you put this face in a crate? I am weak when it comes to him!

My name is Kayla, I am 35, married (celebrating 15 years on July 4), and have two beautiful, smart, talented, whiny, needy, and sarcastic teenagers. When I am not working I am usually reading a book, going to the gym (mostly I'm just thinking about going to the gym), cooking, or bribing my kids to do their homework/chores. On the weekends, I enjoy spending time pulling my kids out of their electronics so they can complain during our walks through one of the urban forest we have in our community.
