I think I may have found a new favorite author, well second favorite (No one can replace Patricia Cornwell in my heart). Ruth Ware is proving to be a great story teller.

Lazy Days and Slow Cooker Chili

Today is a slow cooker kind of day, not because it’s cold outside, or dreary (It’s actually really sunny). It’s all because I am feeling lazy. 221B Baker Street, That’s Where I Bake My Pies

Nothing gets me more excited than watching Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes! I started my day off FINALLY getting to watch season 4 of Sherlock. Even though the episodes are an hour and a half, it took me three hours to complete episode one. This was due to my kid’s inability to you know, stop being kids! They have been arguing over everything from whose turn it is to do the dishes down to what color is the best.

Band Camp & Dirty Dishes

The last two weeks have been rough! Due to band camp, schedule pickups, school clothes shopping, and freshman orientation there was not one day that I was home before 9:00 PM. Needless to say, I did not get to cook anything new. Instead, we ate fast food, yep, I am weak. We ate fast food and frozen meals for the LAST. TWO. WEEKS!
